Joe Fish is a few steps away from the hotel. Some of great tourist attractions like chokka trail were really close to the property. We loved seals backpackers: )

The location was ideal, with an estuary, port, and numerous beaches with great surf breaks nearby. We also enjoyed dining at the excellent restaurant across the road. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. The facilities provided everything we needed for our stay. Additionally, the lovely setting added to the overall experience.
The acoustics in the upper landing rooms were poor, causing noise from adjacent rooms to be disruptive at times.

Interacting with the kids at Talhado Children's Haven was a delightful chaos. Nomvula's knitters have some serious knitting game! The white and black houses of St Francis Bay make you feel like you're in a small, sandy Venice.
Being cramped in a tiny room was such a luxury.

I recently stayed at Seals Backpackers for a week-long beach vacation with my husband. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The swimming pools were well-maintained and a perfect place to relax. The bar was an enjoyable spot to unwind, with friendly people to chat with. We also appreciated the good value for money and the lack of security problems. The maintenance service was excellent - when one of our keys broke at night, the staff promptly and kindly assisted us.

The rooms at Seals Backpackers have an open-plan layout with a kitchenette, giving you all the basics you need for a comfortable stay. It feels cozy and homey, like staying in a friend's apartment. The loft room adds a fun touch, perfect for a solo traveler like me.
Personally, I found the ladder to the loft room a bit tricky to navigate. But I can see how some guests might enjoy the adventure of climbing up to their cozy nook.

Had a great weekend getaway! The place was pleasant and clean, with spacious and well-equipped units. We loved the short walk to the beautiful beach and enjoyed a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant. Plus, the Wi-Fi, although not the best, was available for 4 hours daily.
Finding the place was a bit tricky as the directions on Google and the telephone number provided were incorrect. There was also no sign outside the property to guide us.
