Joe Fish is a few steps away from the hotel. Some of great tourist attractions like chokka trail were really close to the property. We loved seals backpackers: )

Mingle with "quintessential African wildlife" without any effort, have a good rigging area with "showers" to rinse off, and enjoy the "unique" seating at the Coffee Shack corner.
Delightful surprise to find out I was staying in a backpacker's room when I was expecting the comfort and luxury of my own home.

The location was ideal, with an estuary, port, and numerous beaches with great surf breaks nearby. We also enjoyed dining at the excellent restaurant across the road. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. The facilities provided everything we needed for our stay. Additionally, the lovely setting added to the overall experience.
The acoustics in the upper landing rooms were poor, causing noise from adjacent rooms to be disruptive at times.
